We use Bladderwrack in our Pure Sole Hoof Oil.

Let's get to know a little more about it!

Despite its unusual name, Bladderwrack is actually a form of brown seaweed which is found deep in the ocean.

Seaweeds are loaded with essential vitamins and minerals such as selenium, iodine, sulfur, copper, magnesium, zinc, calcium, magnesium, potassium, as well as beta carotene, vitamins A, K, D, E, C, B1, and B2, niacin, and up to 20 different amino acids.

Bladderwrack contains mineral salts in their organic form and alginates which are high in protein.

Bladderwrack contains high levels of iodine, a trace element that supports thyroid health by producing the thyroid hormones triiodothyronine (T3) and thyroxine (T4).

It can help coat and hoof quality and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which can help arthritic and rheumatic conditions.
